Volunteers Needed for MSS Human Rights Committee

Would you be honored to participate on MSS' Human Rights Committee? The commitment is minimal - a short training that can be done remotely, not more than however long it would take for you to review several documents a month, and a short zoom meeting every three months. Your primary role would be to look over some treatment plans we've been asked to put in place with the adults we support who have intellectual/developmental disabilities and, according to your training and your conscience, let us know if you think the treatment plans are humane and honor the folks' human rights.

We would appreciate folks from all different paths, so experience working with this population is not a requirement. If you or a family member or close friend has a disability, however, your unique perspective would be much appreciated on the committee.
